Eternal Security in Christ Part 2.
People of the world there indeed eternal security in Christ Jesus.
What people don’t consider when they say a person can lose their eternal salvation
Whether they know it or not they automatically are revealing that they do not believe the gospel of Jesus Christ. They are preaching another Jesus and they are preaching another gospel that’s not found in The Holy Scriptures (2 Corinthians 11:4) (Galatians 1:1-12). They are not preaching the same gospel that The Apostle Paul taught us in The Holy Bible (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Why is this one may ask? It is because If you say a person can lose their eternal salvation that means you believe in a gospel of works. Meaning you believe they committed some sin that resulted in them losing their eternal salvation. This belief is contrary to The Holy Scriptures. The Bible clearly says that we are saved by grace through faith not of works lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9) (Romans 4:5).
They don’t consider the babes in Christ.
No one is born mature in the word of God. No one is born this super spiritual Christian as it were who does no wrong. We all must grow in our most holy faith and grow in the Holy Word of God. We all must grow in the knowledge and Savior of our Lord Jesus Christ. There are some who feed on the milk of the word and there are others who feed on meat. Both the babe and mature believer in Christ grow up together at the same time.
Consider this: people are born physically in our world every day. Do you really expect a baby to have the knowledge of a 40-year-old man who has lived life on this earth for 40 years? Do you really think you can feed them both the same solid foods? No, likewise they’re babes in Christ that are born again spiritually every day. Meaning there are people coming to Jesus and believing in Him as Savior every single day and now they have begun a journey too in which they must grow in their most holy faith. The one thing that unites the babe in Christ and the mature believer in Christ is faith in Christ. For that is truly all that matters at the end of the day and it is of the utmost importance. The Bible says believe On Christ and thou shall be saved you shall never perish and have everlasting life (John 3:16, 36,) (John 6:40).
They don’t consider that every believer must die to self/crucify the flesh daily and take up their cross and follow Christ or the sinful nature will rise and manifest itself in our life and surely dishonor our Lord
The Bible says be not deceived for God is not mocked whatsoever a man Soweth that shall he also reap. If you sow to the flesh you will reap from the flesh and if you sow to The Spirit you will reap from The Spirit (Galatians 6:7-8). This is true, however Eternal salvation in Christ does not give the believer a license to sin. No one has a license to sin. The Bible doesn’t teach anyone has a license to sin. So, the Bible doesn’t teach it and neither does a true believer in Christ. Sin has and always will bring forth consequences to those who engage in it (Romans 6:23). What we are saved from is the eternal condemnation (the eternal consequence) that comes from our sins. And we are graciously saved from this eternal condemnation of our sins by God when we believe in His Son The Savior Jesus. The Bible is clear on how a sinner is saved by God. We are saved by believing in the finished work of Christ and not by living a perfect so-called sinless life.
The Bible says, "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." (Romans 4:5).
The Bible says, “For God so loved the world That he gave his Only Begotten Son Jesus that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16)
This means we do not work for our own salvation. The Bible condemns and fiercely opposes works-based salvation. Again, I say unto you we are not saved by the doing of our good deeds and or works (Ephesians 2:8-9) (Romans 4:5)
Our job is just to believe in the One who justifies the ungodly.
Who is He that justifies us? It is Christ Jesus our Lord and He saves all those eternally and everlastingly when they believe in Him (John 3:16, 36) (John 6:40) (Acts 16:30-31).
Those who say you can lose your eternal salvation does not understand that the Christian must go through the sanctification process. Also, the believer in Christ is securely placed in the eternal Holy Hands of The Father.
Living out the Christian walk is a journey that we go on with Jesus. We stumble many times and, in many ways, however we are in The Fathers hand, care, and He upholds us. The Father himself hold us, sustains, and maintains us, He will see to it that we are secured and saved everlastingly (John 10:27-30).
What you need to understand is this:
The Bible teaches us that we are saved the very moment we believe in Jesus. The Bible teaches us that at the very moment we believe in Jesus as The Holy Son of God at that moment supernaturally, eternally, and instantaneously we are given by God everlastingly life. Now no one or nothing can ever be done for that believer in Christ to lose his eternal salvation. This is because He or she is now a child of God whom God By His Holy Spirit has sealed them unto the day of redemption and has identified them as his very own (Ephesians 4:30) (Ephesians 1:13) (2 Corinthians 1:22). God The Father now sees the believer as He sees His Christ. When God looks now at the believer, He sees Christ His Son in them, living and dwelling inside of them. When God now sees them, He sees Christ in them who is The Hope of Glory (Colossians 1:27).
Bible truths that people who say you can lose your eternal salvation simply do not understand. Here are a few of them below.
The Bible teaches us that the believer in Christ is declared justified instantaneously and eternally the very moment we believe in Jesus
The Bible teaches us that the believer in Christ is declared Righteous instantaneously and eternally the very moment we believe in Jesus
The Bible teaches us that the believer in Christ is declared forgiven of all sin instantaneously and eternally the very moment we believe in Jesus.
Forgiven is past tense meaning our forgiveness is a done deal as far as God is concerned when we believe in Jesus His Son.
The person who says you can lose your eternal salvation does not know and understand what God says in his word.
For they are clearly denying the true teachings of scripture: God said that when we believe in Christ God himself has removed our sins from us as far as the east is from the west (Psalm 103:12).
The Bible says what shall separate the believer from The Love of Christ?
Romans 8:35-39 (KJV)
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Do you truly understand now what Romans 8:35-39 is truly saying? Its saying that nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of Christ Jesus our Lord. Nothing! Again, these bible verses prove that It is impossible for a believer in Jesus Christ to lose his or her eternal salvation.
Those who say you can lose your eternal salvation do not believe in the imputed Righteousness of Jesus Christ.
This means God in Christ when we believed in Him imputed his righteousness to us and imputed his righteousness in us. For He now The Lord our Righteousness lives in us by The Person and Power of His Holy Spirit. We’re not saved because we’re good we’re saved because He’s good. We are not saved by our own righteousness we’re saved by His righteousness (Romans 3:21-22) (2 Corinthians 5:21) (Romans 4:5) (Philippians 3:9).
The Holy Spirit told me “Works is man’s way of glorifying himself before God. The Gospel is God’s way of glorifying himself through His Son Jesus.”
If you don’t believe in eternal security for the believer in Christ what is clear is this:
1. At best you are deceived.
2. You’re indeed one who is calling Jesus The Holy Son of God a liar.
3.You are indeed one who does not believe that everlasting life means everlasting life.
4. You’re clearly ignorant of the clear teachings of the word of God.
5. You’re either a knowingly or unknowingly false prophet, teacher, wolf, and false Christ.
6. Or there is a high chance you’re not saved at all.
What is clear though for certain is that at best you are deceived and are one who is clearly denying scripture, and at worst you’re not saved at all.
